Applied Visual Communicationsm Inc. Joins the Cisco Developer Network as a Registered Developer

Herndon, VA - December 21, 2011 - Applied Visual Communications, Inc. announced that it has joined the Cisco AV Integration Accreditation System located within the Cisco Developer Network.

The Cicso AV Integration Accreditation System was created to highlight those AV Integrators who agree to follow AV Industry Standards and best practices and to execute projects using exacting checklists to ensure quality workmanship and performance. The system sets parameters for quantifying AV Integrators with the goal of promoting their use on Cisco projects. Requirements at the base level include training on key video codecs used in AV Integration, submittals of representative AV Integration projects and the pledge to use AV Installation best practices found in the InfoComm International Installation Handbook. In addition, projects must be installed using an exacting checklist to assure quality workmanship and performance of the systems.

Applied Visual Communications offers a complementary product offering and has started to collaborate with Cisco to meet the needs of joint customers. With these offerings, customers can more quickly deploy a broad range of Cisco Compatible business applications, devices, or services that can enhance the capabilities, performance, and management of their Cisco network.
