Command & Control projects have a variety of distinctive challenges which must be considered when designing, installing and operating the AV systems which are core to the use of the space and must be taken into account at each step of the process:
- 24-7 operation
- Security
- Sight lines
- User comfort
|
- Collaborative decision making
- Pixel density
- Scalability of image size and layout
- Ease of use

The AVC team has extensive experience working with clients from
concept through implementation to ensure the highest level of
functionality and client satisfaction with the resulting solutions.
AVC’s extended warranty and maintenance make sure that the ROI is
maximized.
Command and Control systems are often required to present multiple
images at XGA and higher resolutions without the loss of any pixels in
each image. Previously to accomplish such a task required the use of
multiple projectors or videowall cubes. Multiple light sources are
difficult to align and maintain, causing the image to take on a
checkerboard appearance, and typically have mullions which break up the
continuity of the image.
AVC has designed and installed solutions to this age-old problem. By
using an ultra-high resolution projector as a single light source, we
can display an image 4096 pixels wide by 2160 pixels high. This allows
four images with resolutions up to 2048 X 1080, including 1080P High
Definition images, to be displayed simultaneously without any pixel
loss.
