Digital Signage Print

fbr.jpgDigital signage is a form of “out-of-home advertising” in which content and messages displayed on an electronic screen, or digital sign, can be changed without modification to the physical sign, typically with the goal of delivering targeted messages to specific locations at specific times.

AVC has been delivering this routine concept of visual communication since before the term digital signage was used.   Digital Signage as a means to advertise and provide information is quickly replacing many of the conventional standards such as billboards, flyers, and other printed material.

In today’s world the delivery of information is non-stop and instantaneous by way of the Internet, cell phones, and email as well as a myriad of other sources.  Providing information and helping to influence decisions using visual communications is the future.

The display may be a modest size LCD or plasma, a projector with screen, a large outdoor display, or any combination of these technologies. Audio is optional.  Content can be dynamic so that it changes based on certain conditions being met, such as weather alerts or security situations. Once developed, the content or playlists can be scheduled to run on any day, at any hour and for any length of time.  While schedules can vary from day to day to run different playlists, the flexibility is practically infinite.

The Internet allows the displays to be controlled from a single location when linked to a network.  What is the bottom line? - A single fixed display can be used over and over again to provide visual communications on any subject matter.
