Major Government Prime Contractor Briefing & Training Room

This client had experience with large, multi-display systems from their first iteration of this room. They were moving into a new building and needed to re-create the functionality while updating for changes in technology since the initial design and installation. One challenge is that the room is on an upper floor, so using a rigid screen presented logistical issues as well as cost concerns.AVC assisted with the design then ultimately engineered, installed, programmed and now maintain the system shown in the photo. Three projectors using dual mirror assemblies project onto a slightly curved screen. The screen material is delivered in a roll. It is then straightened out prior to installation in the wall. This eliminated the logistical issues of a rigid screen at a dramatically lower cost.

Sophisticated switching, control and image processing enable a wide variety of presentations and videoconferences to be conducted in the heavily used space.
